This is a nice kit for occasional home repair use.

The hammer is light, great for hanging pictures, pounding finish nails that have worked they’re way out, etc. It’s not a framing hammer and doesn’t have to weight behind it to efficiently be used as such.

I find myself busting into the kit to use small screw drivers since it’s usually closer than my tools.

The larger screwdriver works well and has enough attachments for most jobs users of this kit will run into.

The box cutter is probably the lowest quality tool in the kit. It’s not something that should be used for heavy use, such as cutting drywall. The blade doesn’t do a great job of staying locked in place, so it can be pulled out and pushed when doing heavy cutting. It’s fine for opening amazon packages and other light use jobs. Instructions should probably be included for how to break the box cutter blade. it’s the type of blade that has several sections that are scored on both sides. When the blade gets dull, you simply break off the end of it and the new end is nice and sharp. I found my girlfriend trying to press the blade against the floor in an attempt to break it off. I stopped her before the blade snapped off, went flying, and she or someone else lost an eye. I imagine that other users of this may not have experience with this type of tool, and would benefit from knowing that it’s much easier and safer to use the supplied pliers to break off the end of the razor blade. A warning label of what not to do on the tool may be better.

Very pleased. My daughter loves the color orange and had been asking for her own tool kit . . . so this was a present for her 17th birthday. She loves it. I love the molded plastic case because everything has a place and if it’s not in it’s place . . . she will know she is missing something from her tool kit. Great product.

We bought this set as a graduation present for a high school senior. Figured he might make use of it throughout his college days, and maybe beyond. If he’s in a dorm, or if he’s sharing a house — or even if he has his own apartment or house — a nice neat fix-it set could be handy. We’re also hoping he will put it into the trunk of his car when he goes on any long drive . . . We also bought a smallish tool bag, as “gift wrap” and set of tools are in the bag.

Decided on the orange color because it’s easy to see, and maybe it would be a different color than anyone else in the dorm (or shared house).

Haven’t tried using them ourselves, but the college student may not put them to very heavy use. Hoping he’ll like them . . .

Great product for its purpose. My wife is very active with our church and is always taking my tools when ever it is needed. This tool set is perfect for this reason. She keeps it in her car along with some nails and screws that I’ve containerized for her to go along with her tool set.

I have not used the tools yet–I bought the set for emergencies, but from what I can see and feel, they are just what I need. I don’t design or build things and cannot nail two pieces of wood together–so I needed something standard, something familiar, without a learning curve; to obviate my calling a repairman for something simple. If I had these a few years ago, I’d have saved a bundle.

Came very well packaged (double boxed) to ensure nothing was damaged during shipping. Very standard tool kit, have bought comparable kits at the store for upwards of $25. All tools pictured came with the set and are in perfect working order. It’s already come in handy several times and I’ve only had it a few days!

Surprisingly well made selection of tools for small repairs. Very handy to have around the house.It’s nicely compact and all the items stay secure in the molded case. Good selection of screwdriver bits. Driver handle is comfortably large for extra torque and has a nonslip grip. It’s a good bargain at the price. Can’t beat the two day delivery, either.

Great kit for my son in college! Used it day one, on move-in day. Roomates were begging to use this kit. He has used it several times since being in college. Working on the room, beds, hanging items. Perfect to pack and tuck away. What a great assortment of tools in a well-organized case.

I LOVE THIS TOOLBOX! I recently ordered furniture from IKEA, and one of my friends suggested to order this product from amazon. I was hesitant at first but then i went ahead and bought this. Well, I am thankful to my friend for the suggestion because IKEA furniture would have been extremely tough to assemble without the help of this tool box. It has everything you might need to get the job done at your home
Would definitely recommend this product to everyone;

When I sold my house I sold my collection of tools as well, but wanted a basic set for around the apartment. Great! Have needed the tape measure, box cutter, wrench, several screwdrivers,the hammer and of course the ever popular Allen wrenches for all that RTA furniture over the past few weeks!! And everything goes back in its little box under the kitchen sink so I know where to find it! Good quality and a nice general purpose set.
